SENIOR COORDINATOR, MATERIAL PRODUCTION

What We Do – Accountabilities

• Establish and maintain the material library in the Vietnam office, aligned with DGO logic and seasonal updates.
• Ensure timely and accurate release of production masters, including master swatches and color Window (CW).
• Manage non-leather supplier performance across Vietnam and Cambodia, tracking KPIs and escalating issues as needed.
• Support supplier compliance and onboarding, including documentation verification and registration.

Essential Functions

Material Library & Master Management

• Organize and maintain approved color masters and color window (CW) by season, ensuring accurate record-keeping and traceability.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure masters are released correctly and on time after order confirmation.
• Monitor and replace masters with color issues, working with suppliers and internal teams to implement updates.
• Keep systematic records of all master swatches, including physical samples and digital tracking.

Supplier & Performance Management

• Track and manage non-leather supplier KPIs across Vietnam and Cambodia; escalate unresolved quality or delivery issues to Senior Production Manager.
• Act as the first point of contact for quality or delivery disruptions between factories and non-leather suppliers.
• Verify suppliers' legal documentation and assist with vendor registration and creation forms (Vietnamese language required).
• Monitor supplier certification, compliance status, and lab test performance; communicate updated Caleres test protocols and customer requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with suppliers to track duplication progress and follow up the approval results to make sure duplication are finished before deadline
• Conduct Munsell Eye Test and report result and analysis
• Partner with Material Development team to implement new workflows, processes, and tools to local suppliers aligned with business needs.
• Conduct data analysis and generate performance reports on team efficiency and supplier KPIs as requested by leadership.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

• University degree
• 5 years in the Shoe/ Material industry.
• PU/ Textile Commodity material experience is preferred
• Material Management Knowledge
• Competence in Microsoft Office/PPT/Excel
• Fluent in English (oral/written)
